Terms of Service
Effective date: July 19, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Bitty Coder at bittycoder.com. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The service
Bitty Coder provides browser-based developer utilities and related guides. The initial tools format, view, validate, edit, minify, compare, parse, and repair JSON. No account is required.
Tool input is processed on your device and is not submitted to us. The Contact form is a separate feature that sends the information described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You may use the tools for lawful personal or commercial work. You must not:
- use the site to violate law or another person’s rights;
- probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security controls or rate limits;
- introduce malware or use automated traffic that interferes with other users;
- submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or malicious contact content; or
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation with Bitty Coder.
Your input and results
You retain responsibility for documents and other material you enter. You must have the right to use that material, protect your own sensitive information, and review results before relying on them.
The tools are development conveniences, not legal, financial, medical, security, or other professional advice. Formatting, validation, parsing, comparison, and repair may be unsuitable for a particular system or workflow. Repair is heuristic and may produce valid JSON that does not match the author’s intent. Keep an independent copy of important data.
Site content and open-source software
Bitty Coder’s original guides, visual design, branding, and other site content are owned by the site operator or used under license. Open-source dependencies remain governed by their respective licenses. These Terms do not transfer intellectual property rights to you.
If you believe material we control infringes your copyright, follow our DMCA Policy.
Third-party services and links
The site may rely on hosting, CDN, API, analytics, advertising, or other infrastructure providers and may link to external websites. A link or advertisement does not mean we endorse the third party, its claims, or its products. Your dealings with a third party are governed by its own terms.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue a tool or feature and may restrict abusive access. We do not guarantee advance notice, continuous availability, or that every browser and input size will work without error.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the site and tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the site operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from use of or inability to use the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
Governing rules
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the site operator is established, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Before filing a formal claim, contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to address it.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
